On September 28, 2019, Spectrum Health Care Foundation had the privilege of being one of the sponsors of SickKids' flagship fundraising event, GetLoud.

SickKids' largest event takes the energy and momentum of the very successful SickKids VS Limits campaign to the streets, in an epic one-day event to raise money for a new hospital. Through fundraising and sponsorship alone, GetLoud was able to raise an astounding $2.2 million!

During the event, Spectrum Event Medical Services provided first aid services to the march participants while our employees handed out mini bandage kits to the event goers. The day didn't end with the 5K march. After the walk there was a festival celebration featuring chart-topping bands, an amazing BBQ-style spread, food trucks, a beer garden and family activities.

Entertainment at the festival included six-time Juno award winner Serena Ryder, in addition to Dwayne Gretzky – a talented group of Toronto musicians who bring to life the greatest songs of all time, and The Mini Pop Kids, back by popular demand.

Spectrum had an amazing time fundraising, rallying and marching to show support to SickKids. When we unite in the fight against limits, we’re unstoppable!
